Ed eccomi di ritorno dal mio viaggio, ancora pervasa dall'energia delle crafters americane, con le quali ho condiviso due giorni di insegnamento dedicati al Mixed Media Stamperia. Come anticipato, sono stata ospite di Scrapbooking Made Simple, il cui staff mi ha riservato un'accoglienza calorosa ed un'ampia sala, già perfettamente organizzata per lo svolgimento dei corsi.

Un pubblico tutto femminile, attento e partecipativo, con il quale è scattata immediatamente un'ottima intesa.

Riconfermato l'interesse per i design ed i progetti Stamperia, il cui stile ormai internazionale non rinuncia a quell'eleganza italiana che nel tempo è diventata la sua firma. Grande apprezzamento per i temi classici floreali e legati alla natura, sia interpretata in chiave tradizionale, che nei toni vintage dello Steampunk.

I'm back from my trip and I'm still pervaded by the american crafters' positive energy. I've share with them two beautiful teaching days, dedicated to Stamperia Mixed Media Art. As anticipated, I was a guest at Scrapbooking Made Simple: the staff reserved me a very warm welcome and a large hall, well organized for my creative courses.

A female public, very interested and participative, with which I've immediately developed a good feeling. 

The appreciation for Stamperia design and projects has been reconfirmed: an international style with a touch of italian elegance, the brand identity. Great interest for classic floral  and nature themes,  in traditional designs but also in a vintage Steampunk style.

Overall, a wonderful experience... thank you, Scrapbooking Made Simple!

Et me voilà de retour de mon voyage, je suis encore empreinte de l'énergie de les américaines, avec lequelles, j'ai partagé deux jours d'enseignement dèdiés au Mixed Media Stamperia. Comme prévu, j'ai été hôte de Scrapbooking Made Simple, qui m'a réservé un accueil chaleureux et une vaste salle, bein rangée pour mon cours creatifs.

Un public fêminin, attentif et intéressé, avec qui j'ai de suite développé une bonne alchimie.

L'intérêt pour les designs et les projets Stamperia a été confirmé: un style international avec une touche d'éleégance italienne, l'identité de marque. 

Grand 'intérêt pour les sujets classiques, florals et inspirés par la nature, dans dessins traditionnels ainsi que le style Steampunk vintage.

Dans l'ensemble, une splendide expérience... merci, Scrapbooking Made Simple!

U.K. calling: Birmingham experience

My week started with a touch of "British" style: I've been with Stamperia at CHSI - Stitches (19th - 21st February 2017 - Birmingham), international exhibition dedicated to creative hobbies. 

A lot of colours, fresh styles, many different designs: from naif illustrations to the most completed forms of Mixed Media Art. Brilliant colours both in textile (fabric, ribbons, laces) than in papers and products.

Questa settimana è iniziata all'insegna dello stile British: con Stamperia ho preso parte al CHSI - Stitches (19 - 21 Febbraio 2017 - Birmingham), esposizione internazionale dedicata agli hobby creativi. 

Una cornice inglese ricca di colore, linee pulite, design che andavano dai motivi delle illustrazioni naif al Mixed Media nella sua più compiuta espressione. Colori vivaci, luminosi, impiegati tanto in ambito tessile (stoffe, nastri, pizzi, accessori handmade), quanto nelle carte e nei prodotti.

USA Adventure: Creativation Phoenix

I'm back from a new, great adventure: Creativation Phoenix (USA). As every year, CHA - Craft & Hobby Association - organizes and curates one of the most important worldwide events for handmade professionals. 

Hundreds of exhibitors from all over the world... and, this year, Stamperia was there for the first time.

After an uncertain beginning (new market, new event, many things to understand and to discover), our five days have been a surge of interest for Stamperia Italian style. People totally fell in love for our products, especially for scrapbooking papers designs (scrapbooking is one of the most followed techniques in USA) and for decoupage.

Phoenix looked like an "hanging" city. Placid, orderly, sorrounded by the typical american boundless panorama. I had not a lot of time to visit the city, because of the fast rhythms of the fair. But I'm sure that our adventure has lays the foundation for new trips to America. And I look forward!

Ed eccomi di ritorno da una nuova, entusiasmante avventura: Creativation Phoenix (USA). Come ogni anno il CHA - Craft & Hobby Association - cura uno degli eventi più rilevanti a livello mondiale per i professionisti dell' Handmade.

Centinaia di espositori da tutto il mondo... e quest'anno, per la prima volta, anche Stamperia. 

Dopo un inizio un po' incerto (un mercato nuovo, un evento per noi inedito, tantissime cose da capire e da scoprire), i cinque giorni di fiera si sono trasformati in un crescendo di interesse per lo stile Made in Italy by Stamperia. Amore a prima vista soprattutto per i design delle carte da scrap (una delle tecniche più in voga negli States) e per il decoupage.

Ho amato sin da subito l'approccio alla creatività manifestato dalle creative americane che hanno deciso di seguire i miei workshop: aperto, fiducioso, energico e divertente... insomma, la vera essenza dell'essere creativi!

Phoenix mi è parsa una città come "sospesa" al di fuori dal tempo. Placida, ordinata, circondata da quei panorami sconfinati, tipici degli States. Certo, è stato poco il tempo a disposizione per visitarla, dati i ritmi serrati della fiera. Ma sono certa che questa avventura ha posto le basi per un ritorno in America. Ed io, ovviamente, non vedo l'ora!

Back from a wonderful full immersion in Stamperia World! Three days in Budapest, three days dedicated to Stamperia Creative Team: teacher from all over the world, all together at work for the coming season. We've discovered the new Stamperia Spring Collection 2017, we've created many projects with new papers, stencils, pastes, stamps, moulds. We've experimented new techniques and effects that, we're sure, will win your heart.

My creative courses during the first day:

"The Lady Rocks": Mixed Media Decoupage Hat Box with the new Decoupage Paper DFSA4224, new stencil "Grand Hotel" KSG399, new wooden frame "Butterfly" (KLSP030), paper flowers, ribbons, metal decorations... and especially, a new "Rock Effect" made with Mix Media Pastes (Modeling Paste and Texture Sand Paste). 

"3D Ballet": a new rice paper napkin (DFTM09) from "Le tele di Monica" collection. I've worked on the back of the canvas, I've made a background starting from one of my favourite new Scrapbooking Pads (Flower Alphabet - SBBL30) and I've created a 3D toulle skirt with Stamperia Voile Paper and Tex Art (KEN07B - a special hardener paste for fabric and paper).

"Blooming Garden": 3D Decoupage with the new rice paper DFS373, Stone Paper, wooden decorations, and Glitter Tapes. I've put touches of light by applying a Glossy Finish on the relief, 3D Pearl Pen and Contour to highlight some element.

And a second version with DFS375 decoupage paper...

Now I've got many new special ideas... and I'm ready for two new adventures: Creativation Phoenix (January, from 19th to 23rd - USA) and Frankfurt Creative World (January, from 28th to 31st - Germany). So... stay tuned!

Di ritorno da una meravigliosa full immersion nel mondo Stamperia! Tree giorni a Budapest, tre giorni dedicati al Creative Team: insegnanti da diverse parti del mondo, tutti insieme a lavoro per l'arrivo della nuova stagione. Abbiamo scoperto la nuova Collezione Stamperia Primavera 2017 e realizzato diversi progetti con nuove carte, stencil, paste, timbri e calchi. Abbiamo inoltre sperimentato nuove tecniche e nuovi effetti che, ne siamo certi, vi conquisteranno!

3- "3D Ballet": nuovo tovagliolo 8DFTM09) della linea "Le Tele di Monica". Ho lavorato sul retro della tela, creando un background a partire da uno dei miei nuovi Album Scrapbooking preferiti (SBBL30), ho creato una gonna in toulle 3D applicando sulla Carta Voile Stamperia il Tex Art (KEN07B - speciale pasta indurente per stoffa e carta).

4 - "Blooming Garden": decoupage 3D con la nuova carta di riso DFS373, Stone Paper, decorazioni in legno e Glitter Tapes argento. Ho applicato qualche tocco di luce con l'uso della Glossy Finish sui rilievi, 3D Pearl Pen e Contour per accentuare alcuni elementi. Ed una seconda versione con la carta di riso DFS375.

Ora sono piena di nuove idee... e pronta per due nuove avventure: Creativation Phoenix (19 - 23 Gennaio 2017 - USA) e Creative World Frankfurt (28 - 31 Gennaio 2017 - Germania). Quindi... continuate a seguirmi!

Around the World: Poland and Japan.

I'm back home after my last travel around the world: first stop Poland, the amazing city of Skoczów. Then Japan, Tokio. Two different realities with a common interest, creativity!

The polish Academy (training for Stamperia collaborators) has been an opportunity to present some  new  Stamperia Christmas project and "Monica's Canvases" with a male subject. I love polish kindness, as much as their abilities with colours and their great taste.

So, here below some pics from Poland... and a video tutorial to make my "Man in Black" canvas. I remind you that all the tutorials of my canvases are available on Stamperia website.

Appena rientrata da un lungo viaggio che mi ha portata dapprima in Polonia, nella graziosa cittadina di Skoczów, poi in Giappone, a Tokio. Due realtà diverse accomunate dalla passione per la creatività.

L'Academy (corso formativo dedicato ai collaboratori Stamperia) polacca è stata un'occasione per proporre i primi progetti natalizi firmati Stamperia e Le Tele di Monica con un soggetto maschile. Alla gentilezza ed ospitalità polacca si è affiancato, come sempre, il loro gusto raffinato e la grande abilità nell'uso del colore.

Ecco quindi qualche foto dall'evento... ed il video tutorial per realizzare la mia tela "Man in Black", ricordandovi che tutti i video delle mie tele sono disponibili sul sito Stamperia.

Je suis à peine  rentrée d’un long  voyage qui m’a  tout d’abord apporté en Pologne, dans la petite ville gracieuse de Skoczów,  puis au Japon, à Tokyo…Un choc culturel et visuel  impressionnant, mais  la passion  pour la créativité rapproche les deux réalités différentes, et les nouveaux  projets de Stamperia et de Monica font le reste pour  créer une ambiance effervescente.

L’Académie (cours formatif dédié aux collaborateurs  Stamperia) Polonaise elle a été  une occasion pour

présenter  les premiers projets de Noël  griffés  Stamperia  et les toiles  de Monica avec  un thème sujet

masculin. Nous  avons apprécié la gentillesse et  hospitalité polonaise, soutenues  comme toujours par

leur gout raffiné et la grande  adresse   dans l’usage de la couleur.

Stamperia Academy Budapest... the Day of the Braves

L'11 Ottobre è stata la giornata degli impavidi,  sotto una pioggia battente, la bellissima Budapest ha visto due grandi eventi, la Maratona con 28.000 partecipanti ,veri e propri eroi, e l'Academy Stamperia con 80 partecipanti che hanno dedicato la loro domenica al training e alla creatività come professione.

Protagonisti assoluti il fantastico staff di Pentacolor tutti impegnati a servire i clienti e ad assistere ai corsi. 

Una giornata in armonia, davvero indimenticabile, un grande successo.

Grazie Budapest, alla prossima!

11 octobre, le jour des braves , sous la pluie battante , la belle Budapest a vu deux événements majeurs , le marathon avec 28.000 participants , véritables héros et l' Académie de Stamperia avec 80 participants qui ont consacré leur dimanche à la formation et de la créativité en tant que profession.

Les étoiles fantastiques du staff Pentacolor tous engagés à servir les clients et à participer aux cours.

Une journée dans l'harmonie, inoubliable, un grand succès .

October, 11th: the Day of the Braves, with an heavy rain in the wonderful city of Budapest, which hosted two important events: a Marathon with 28.000 participants (authentic heroes!) and Stamperia Academy. 80 participants have dedicated a Sunday to Stamperia lessons and to creativity as profession. 

Pentacolor staff has been the great protagonist of this day, all the team members engaged to assist clients and to follow the lessons.

An unforgettable day, full of armony... a big successful.

Around the World: from Lyon to Vicenza...

Scrivo questo post dal portatile, seduta ad un tavolo super affollato di tele, barattoli di colore, carte. Fuori è già buio (benvenuto Autunno!) ed io sono in procinto di partire per Lione, per una nuova avventura a Version Scrap. Programmo la pubblicazione del post, che uscirà mentre io sarò in Francia con i miei corsi nello stand Stamperia fino a Domenica 4 Ottobre...

Al mio ritorno, promesso, una serie di post sugli ultimi eventi cui ho preso parte in giro per il mondo: tante, tantissime inspirations, qualche curiosità sulle ultime tendenze e foto, tante foto.

I'm writing this post from my laptop, sitting at a messy table full of canvases, colours, papers. It's just dark out here (welcome, Autumn!), I'm almost ready to leave to Lyon towards my new adventure with Version Scrap Exhibition. This post will be published while I'll be in France holding my creative lessons. I'll be there until October, 4th...

When I am back, I'll share everything about my last events around the world: plenty of  inspirations, news and many, many pictures... I promise!

Eccomi di nuovo sull’aereo… direzione Mosca!

 Meravigliosa città che credevo ormai di conoscere, ma che riserva sempre molte sorprese…tanto per cominciare il clima. D’accordo mi aspettavo forse di non trovare i 35 gradi che sopportiamo a casa in questi giorni (se non 40), ma non certo di trovarne 10, con pioggia e tanto di piumino di notte.

A parte questa nota climatica provo sempre stupore per una città ricca di contrasti che sfoggia sfavillanti monumenti,  lussuosi negozi, bei ristoranti e nel contempo ancora tante differenze sociali. E’ proprio in esse che ritroviamo un denominatore comune: la voglia di creare!

Ho insegnato in un negozio che è il mondo ideale per gli Arts & Crafts, qui si ritrovano gli appassionati di un qualsiasi hobby in una qualsiasi ora della giornata ( dalle 10 alle 22).

E qui ho insegnato agli addetti ai lavori le tecniche più amate: il découpage pittorico, ancor più amato se con effetti tridimensionali, e con il cracklè. Non solo découpage direi, ma anche feltro e  scrapbooking. E’ proprio bello rispolverare anche le vecchie tecniche e riproporle come con nuovi stili e nuove carte a chi desidera assorbire tutto soprattutto se si tratta di stile italiano, di vintage, di artistico.

I'm back on the plane ... towards Moscow!

Wonderful city that I thought to know, but which reserves many surprises ... just to start the climate. Maybe I was not expecting to find the 35 degrees we endure at home these days (even 40), but for sure not to find 10, with rain and a blanket for the night.

Apart from this note on weather I am always surprised for a city full of contrasts like amazing monuments, luxury shopping centers, fine restaurants but still with many social differences. And it precisely in this that we can find a common denominator: the desire to create!

I taught in a store that is the ideal world for Arts & Crafts, here you can find the fans of any hobby at any time of the day (from 10 to 22). And here I taught to professionals the most popular techniques: pictorial decoupage, even more loved if with three-dimensional effects, and with the cracklé. Not only decoupage, but they also appreciated felt and scrapbooking. It 's nice to dust off the old techniques and propose them with new styles and new papers, especially to people who want to absorb everything especially when it comes from Italian style or vintage, or anyway artistic.

Ville merveilleuse que je pensais maintenant de connaitre , mais qui  garde  toujours des surprises ... juste pour commencer le climat. Peut-être je ne croyais pas de trouver les 35 degrés que nous supportons à la maison ces jours là (même 40), mais surement pas 10 degrés, avec de la pluie et une couverture pendant  la nuit.

A part cette note climatique je suis toujours étonnée pour une ville de contrastes qui a des monuments scintillantes, boutiques de luxe, des super restaurants et au même temps encore beaucoup de différences sociales. Et c’est précisément là dedans qu’il y a un dénominateur commun: le désir de créer!

J’ai enseigné dans un magasin qui est le monde idéal des Arts & Crafts, ici se trouvent les fans de tous les loisirs, de 10 à 22 heures. C’est là que j’ai  enseigné aux professionnels les techniques les plus populaires: découpage pictorique, qui est encore plus aimé avec des effets tridimensionnels, ou  avec le craquelé. Non seulement le découpage est aimé, mais aussi la feutrine et le scrapbooking. Il est également agréable de redécouvrir  les anciennes techniques et de les proposer avec de nouveaux styles et de nouveaux papiers surtout à ceux qui aiment le style italien, le vintage et l’art.
