Version Scrap in Paris: trends and styles

Uno degli aspetti che più amo del mio lavoro è la possibilità di coniugare la passione per l'arte con l'amore per il viaggio. Le ragioni che più frequentemente mi portano a viaggiare riguardano in particolare due tipologie di eventi: le manifestazioni e i corsi.

Nel primo caso si tratta di eventi internazionali dedicati all'arte ed all' handmade, occasioni ideali per confrontarsi con i creativi provenienti da ogni angolo del globo, imparando moltissimo e rincasando con la testa (e la valigia!) piena di nuove ispirazioni.

Di recente, per esempio, ho preso parte con Stamperia a Version Scrap, manifestazione internazionale dedicata a scrapbooking ed hobby creativi, nella splendida cornice di Parigi.

Per l'occasione, ho presentato alcuni miei progetti Mix Media, commistione di tecniche e materiali che, soprattutto nell'ultimo periodo, desta molto interesse.

A Parigi ho potuto ammirare le ultime tendenze e gli stili più cool del momento: da un lato soggetti lineari, stilizzati, contrasti cromatici decisi e molto black and white; dall'altro l'intramontabile stile floreale, arricchito da elementi decorativi a rilievo ed effetti cromatici particolari, come quelli che si possono ottenere nebulizzando il colore. In ogni caso, una vera e propria celebrazione dell'estro creativo, della volontà di "osare" accostando stencils, timbri, carte e pennellate. Un consiglio: non abbiate paura di sperimentare!

An aspect of my job that I love in particular, is the opportunity to travel. I use to visit other countries for two main reasons: events and courses. In the first case, I take part to international exhibitions, usually dedicated to art and creative hobbies. These events are important for me, ‘cause I can “study” trends and I can meet creatives from all over the world.

Recently I’ve been in Paris with Stamperia for Version Scrap, an international exhibition dedicated to scrapbooking, art and craft. I’ve presented some of my Mix Media projects, a combination of materials and techniques very appreciated in this period.

In Paris I’ve admired the coolest styles of the moment: 1- linear and stylized subjects, strong chromatic contrast, a lot of black & white; 2- on the other side, a floral style enriched with reliefs and particular chromatic effects, realized for example with sprayed colors. More generally, the celebration of creative estrus is dominant. So, do not be afraid to dare! 

 

Avant tout j’aime mon travail, et l’un des aspects que j’adore c’est la chance que j’ai de conjuguer ma passion pour l’art avec mon amour pour les voyages. Les raisons les plus fréquentes de mes voyages sont les Salons, les stages chez les Clients, les Académies à Turin ou à Budapest.

Dans le premier cas il s’agit des Salons Internationaux dédiés aux Arts et aux travaux manuels,

où l’on saisi l’opportunité de se confronter avec les amateurs du monde entier, on apprend beaucoup et on revient chez soi avec la tête (et la valise) pleine d’inspirations nouvelles.

Récemment, par exemple, j’ai participé avec Stamperia au Salon International  VERSION SCRAP,

dédié au scrap booking et aux arts créatifs, dans la merveilleuse ambiance de Paris.

Les projets que j’ai présenté au Salon ont été centrés sur le MIX MEDIA, mélange de matériaux et techniques différentes qui maintenant sont très tendance.

A  Paris j’ai eu l’opportunité d’admirer les dernières tendances et les styles les plus  "cool" d’aujourd’hui :d’un coté thèmes linéaires, stylisés, contrastes chromatiques forts et beaucoup de blanc et noir, de l’autre l’impérissable style floral, enrichi par décorations en relief et effets chromatiques raffinés,semblables aux nuances que l’on obtient en nébulisant les couleurs.

En tous cas, une véritable célébration de l’esprit créatif, le désire naturel d’oser tout en associant pochoirs, tampons, papiers, peintures différentes. Un conseil : n’ayez pas peur d’expérimenter!
